About Me
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #141398), I work with adults and families looking to work through their mental health challenges, all while improving their relationship with both themselves and others. I am experienced in treating individuals and families impacted by addiction, eating disorders, anxiety, relational conflict, depression, perfectionism, low self worth, life transitions and more. This includes clients currently struggling with substance abuse and disordered eating.

I chose to pursue a second career as a LMFT due to my strong, personal interest in eating disorders, addiction, anxiety, low self worth and complex family systems. I strive to be a clinician who understands the nuances of these intricate issues, and I take a non-judgmental approach when walking with clients on their road of discovery and recovery.

I treat clients with the warmth, empathy and respect that they deserve. I honor each client's unique lived experience, and I see my clients as whole people rather than a diagnosis. I work collaboratively with clients in an effort to support their needs and initiate personal growth. My approach is to offer an authentic and welcoming therapeutic space.

My Experience
I graduated in 2021 from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education & Psychology where I received a Master's in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. After completing my traineeship at Pepperdine's Irvine Community Counseling Center, I joined Resurface Group–a wrap-around, family-systems-based concierge therapy practice–where I treated clients struggling with mood disorders, thought disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders and substance use disorders. Following Resurface Group, I completed my 3,000 clinical hours as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Monarch Rising Therapy and Ocean Recovery, and then became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. At Monarch Rising Therapy, an eating disorder-based group practice, I worked closely with clients battling with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, Binge Eating Disorder, OSFED, Body Dysmorphia, Compulsive Exercise, and perfectionism. In addition to Meg McGuire Mental Health, I continue to work at residential treatment center Ocean Recovery, where I provide individual and group therapy to clients contending with eating disorders, substance use disorders, personality disorders and mood disorders.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in the fashion industry as both a publicist and magazine editor. I graduated from Emory University in 2008 where I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing and Consulting/Venture Management.
